进城首选 Perot 博物馆（和霸王龙赛跑）和 Dallas World Aquarium 的雨林坡道；Fort Worth 文化区的科学馆能挖恐龙骨头，旁边的动物园常年全美前几，Water Gardens 走进瀑布中央。徒步选 Cedar Ridge Preserve 和 Dogwood Canyon 这些有坡有景的；McKinney 的 Heard 保护区秋冬有真人大小的恐龙。最值得的一天是开去 Glen Rose：Fossil Rim 的长颈鹿把头伸进车窗，Dinosaur Valley 的河床里有真恐龙脚印。
