Dallas's Central Park: a 9-mile paved loop around the lake, with sailboats to watch, white pelicans that winter here, and a downtown skyline view from the grassy slope at Winfrey Point; push the stroller a stretch and turn around, and that's plenty.

💡 Tips

Kids won't make the full loop, so park at the Bath House Cultural Center or Winfrey Point and walk a short section; Flag Pole Hill at the north end has a big playground, and the Dallas Arboretum is on the east shore. Little shade, so in summer it's early morning or evening only.
