LA's beloved puppet theater, founded in 1963 and unchanged since its move to Highland Park: the audience sits on the carpet while dozens of glittering marionettes dance right in front of you and perch on kids' laps, and everyone gets a cup of ice cream after the show.

💡 Tips
Weekend shows often sell out, so buy tickets online ahead (about $20–25 per person, usually free under 1). Shows run about 1 hour and suit ages 2 and up; there are special holiday productions. Take the A Line to Highland Park station and walk 10 minutes.
