The most famous destination in the San Gabriel Valley: 120 acres of gardens with a children's garden built for playing with water and mist, the Chinese Garden of Flowing Fragrance with stone bridges and koi, the arched bridge and bamboo of the Japanese garden, and a desert garden that looks like another planet.

💡 Tips
Weekend admission is about $32 for adults, $13 for ages 4–11, free under 4, and booking online ahead is recommended on weekends; free the first Thursday of each month but reservations go fast. Get in right at the 10am opening, hit the children's garden first, then tea and snacks in the Chinese Garden.
