The riverside park at the north end of Battery Park City: dozens of tiny Tom Otterness bronze figures hide in the grass beside the playground, Teardrop Park next door has a long slide set into a stone wall, and the big lawn faces the sunset over the Hudson.

💡 Tips
A 15-minute walk north along the river brings you to Pier 25 in Hudson River Park; the Brookfield Place mall has clean restrooms and a food hall.
