Seattle's only California-style beach: a 2.5-mile paved waterfront path with the city skyline across the water, fine sand for digging and castle-building (the water is very cold), plus a small Statue of Liberty and a row of ice cream shops.

💡 Tips
The water stays in the 50s year-round, so it's for sand play rather than swimming. Taking the Water Taxi over from downtown Seattle (King County's water bus) is an outing in itself.
