A pilgrimage site for Seattle kids: the playground has a big slide you enter through a salmon's mouth, and the footbridge over the railroad tracks leads to the beach while BNSF freight trains and Amtrak rumble by underneath.

💡 Tips
Salmon return to spawn in Piper's Creek in November, with volunteer naturalists on weekends. The footbridge has lots of stairs, so you'll be carrying the stroller.
