The site of an old gas plant on the north shore of Lake Union, where a big grassy hill looks out over the whole Seattle skyline and seaplanes landing and taking off nonstop; the rusty old machinery has been painted into a colorful play barn.

💡 Tips
A kite-flying mecca on windy days; there's no traditional playground, so kids mostly run the hill and watch planes. Sunset is the prettiest time, but parking is hard.
