A twin-hilled peninsula jutting into Boston Harbor, where wide gravel carriage roads designed by Olmsted in the 19th century wind around grassy slopes and old trees, sea on one side and marsh on the other, with the Boston skyline far off from the top — like pushing a stroller through a landscape painting.

💡 Tips
The carriage roads take a stroller but roll quite a bit; the full loop is about 4 miles, so do half with a 2-year-old. No shade and nothing for sale, so bring hats, water, and a picnic. Cherry blossoms in spring and red leaves in fall are both lovely.
