Ride 1920s passenger cars from the Grapevine Main station on a slow hour-plus trip to the Fort Worth Stockyards, catch the cattle drive, and ride back; the North Pole Express in November and December is the most sought-after Christmas train in DFW.

💡 Tips

Trains run on weekends; check the website for the schedule and fares (about $20–35/person) and buy ahead. North Pole Express tickets sell out within days of going on sale in the fall. Main St in the old downtown has toy shops, candy stores, and a park, and the station itself is the Grapevine observation tower.
