Plano's largest park: 800 acres of woods and meadow along Rowlett Creek, with flat paved trails that are easy with a stroller and turtles and herons to spot by the creek; older kids can rent a canoe next to the recreation center (weekends in peak season).

💡 Tips
Start from the Oak Point Recreation Center lot and head toward the creek for the best stretch; mosquitoes are thick in summer, so bring repellent. The Go Ape treetop course next door is only for ages 10 and up.
