A beach 10 minutes from Arcadia: a sandy swim area on the edge of a big reservoir, shallow water with summer lifeguards, a paid water play area alongside (sprayers and wading pools), plus a playground, bike paths and pedal boat rentals.

💡 Tips
The swim area and water play area generally run Memorial Day to Labor Day; arrive before 10am on weekends to grab shade. Not much shade, so bring a big umbrella. The mountain backdrop is lovely and evenings are pleasant.
