A 4-mile waterfront park along Manhattan's west side, with Pier 25 as the heart of it for kids: a big playground, a splash area, mini golf ($) and a lawn where you can watch boats on the Hudson; walk north to Pier 51 for a water-themed playground.

💡 Tips
Flat and paved the whole way, a paradise for strollers and scooters; bring swimsuits for the splash area in summer. A 15-minute walk south gets you to Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City.
