A former naval base turned Seattle's second-largest park: the Junior League playground has a dedicated toddler area and climbing towers for big kids, the lakeshore has a swimmable beach and a kite hill, and there's a wetland full of frogs.

💡 Tips
The playground has almost no shade, so go in the morning in summer; the dog park is the city's largest, and kids can watch dogs swim for a long time. There's a farmers market on weekends in summer.
