A rare flat walk at the foot of Tiger Mountain: the wide Bus Trail and the Around the Lake loop pass through mossy forest to Tradition Lake, with big shade and little climbing — the easiest way on the Eastside to take kids into the mountains.

💡 Tips
The Bus Trail out and back is 2 miles and works with a jogging stroller the whole way; look for the old Big Tree along the route. The High Point lot at I-90 exit 20 fills early on weekends, so latecomers park along the road.
