A wetland preserve on Lake Washington where several boardwalks reach out over the water; on sunny days turtles line up to bask, and herons, ducks, and the occasional beaver keep a 2-year-old glued to the railing.

💡 Tips
Completely flat; about 1 mile covers every boardwalk. Volunteers often lead free guided walks on Sunday afternoons. Juanita Beach Park next door is a good follow-up for sand play.
