Things to do with kids in Redmond
Redmond's advantage is big parks, and lots of them: Marymoor alone fills a morning, Grass Lawn is the Eastside's favorite neighborhood playground, and to the north is a free farm hardly anyone visits.
On a sunny day, Marymoor (playground, windmill, dog park, river trail) or Grass Lawn; for animals, Farrel-McWhirter Farm is a 10-minute drive. In summer, Idylwood's lake beach is shallow and lifeguarded, and in October Serres Farm sells pumpkins with no admission. When it rains, the train table at the Redmond Library, or ride the Link 2 Line to Bellevue and back.
