This old park atop Capitol Hill checks four boxes at once: a 1912 glass conservatory (cactus and orchid rooms, warm on rainy days), an old water tower with 107 steps up to city views, a playground, and a free summer wading pool.

💡 Tips
The conservatory is about $6 for adults, free under 12, and closed Mondays. Kids can climb the black camel sculptures outside the Seattle Asian Art Museum next door.
