A 1920s amusement park turned arts park: the 1921 Dentzel carousel runs on weekends May through September for about $2 a ride, and The Puppet Co. puppet shows and Adventure Theatre's kids' musicals play year-round ($$); add a playground and the old buildings and it's the most charming half day around Bethesda.
