More than 1200 old cherry trees in a Bethesda neighborhood weave into pink tunnels over the streets, ten times quieter than the Tidal Basin, with room to push a stroller anywhere while the kids run through drifts of petals; local families make this trip at least once every blossom season.

💡 Tips
It blooms a few days after the Tidal Basin, usually early April. It's a private neighborhood, so stay off the lawns and don't block driveways; the streets get a little crowded on busy weekend mornings. No restrooms, so go beforehand. Connects to the Capital Crescent Trail for stroller walks.
