An old lakeside amusement park open since 1902, a 50-minute drive into NH: Kiddieland has around twenty rides for toddlers and preschoolers, plus an 1898 carousel, a train around the park, shade along the lake, and the Castaway Island water park in summer — the first real amusement park for most Boston families.

💡 Tips
Open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, then weekends through September. Online tickets are cheaper than the gate, with a discount for kids under 48 inches. Arrive at opening, do Kiddieland first and the water area after, and bring swimsuits. Park food is expensive, so bring your own.
