An old narrow-gauge railroad park 1 hour south of Boston, most famous at Christmas: ride a real little train through cranberry bogs decorated with millions of lights, with Thomas the Tank Engine in Thomas Land and dozens of toddler rides in the park — a dream for a train-obsessed 2-year-old.

💡 Tips
Operating seasons and dates have changed a lot in recent years, so always check the website for opening and tickets before leaving. Light show evenings are cold, so dress warmly and bring a blanket. Weekend sessions sell out early.
