The old park at the heart of Downtown Plano: a small pond with ducks and a fountain, a toddler-sized playground beside the vintage gazebo, and the DART light rail passing right across the street — train fans get a sighting every 15 minutes.

💡 Tips
The Interurban Railway Museum next door is free, and 15th St is lined with coffee shops and restaurants. There's sometimes a farmers market on Saturday mornings. In summer go toward evening; the playground shade is so-so.
