A big park on the south shore of Grapevine Lake, where a lake beach shaded by big trees is the most comfortable water play in the northwest suburbs; watch the sailboats and the planes coming in to DFW Airport, and spread a picnic on the grass for the whole day.

💡 Tips
No lifeguards, so bring life jackets; the lake bottom is rocky, so wear water shoes. The lot fills by midday on summer weekends, so go in the morning. Pairs with the vintage train in historic Grapevine for a full day.
