A small zoo with $2 admission, devoted to animals of the American Southwest: mountain lions, black bears, eagles, bobcats and a goat yard you can walk into and pet; an hour covers it, which is exactly a 2-year-old's patience, and then you step out to the mini train and pony rides.

💡 Tips
$2 per person for ages 3 and up, paid on site; the zoo opens at 10am. It shares the park with the Irvine Park Railroad mini train, pedal boats and playgrounds, so bring a picnic to eat under the century-old oaks.
