Noah's Ark at the Skirball is the most inventive children's gallery in Los Angeles: a life-size wooden ark filled with hundreds of animals made from recycled materials that kids can rock, pull, climb and operate, with jobs like loading the ark and making rain; out the stern is an outdoor rainbow courtyard.

💡 Tips
Admission is about $18 for adults, $13 for ages 2–12, and the whole museum is free on Thursdays; Noah's Ark always requires a timed ticket booked online, and weekends often sell out. The 10am opening slot is the quietest. The Getty Center is 5 minutes away.
