One of the closest apple orchards to New York: from September to October a hayride takes you into the orchard, the apples on the dwarf trees are within a 2-year-old's reach, then you pick a pumpkin in the patch, and the apple cider donuts at the exit are worth the line.

💡 Tips
On weekends you must buy timed tickets online in advance (about $15–25 per person including a bag of apples), and they often sell out days ahead; weekdays are far emptier. The orchard is muddy, so use a carrier instead of a stroller.
