A 300-plus-acre wetland on the edge of downtown Bellevue, with boardwalks and flat gravel paths winding through reeds and alder groves; in late summer the neighboring Mercer Slough Blueberry Farm lets you pick blueberries with the kids.

💡 Tips
Start at Winters House and walk the roughly 1-mile Heritage Loop; the boardwalk is stroller-friendly the whole way. Some dirt sections get muddy after rain, so wear rain boots.
