A 500-acre lake next to Germantown. The paved Black Hill Trail along the shore rolls easily with a stroller; summer weekends bring pedal boat and kayak rentals and a covered pontoon tour boat, and the hilltop visitor center has live turtles, scopes, and kids' crafts. It's the lake upcounty families go to most.

💡 Tips
The pontoon boat runs set departures on weekends; buy tickets at the dock. Mosquitoes along the shore in summer, cooler toward evening. The playground is just below the visitor center.
