A Victorian glass conservatory beside the zoo, four rooms you can see in half an hour: palms, ferns, orchids, and a fish pond. The perfect place to thaw out after a freezing walk through the zoo in winter, and the formal French garden out front has a big fountain in summer.

💡 Tips
Free, and the winter flower show is the best; weekends may require a free timed-entry reservation online (check the website). The zoo, the Peggy Notebaert museum, and Oz Park are all within walking distance.
