A 2.7-mile elevated trail on an old rail line running from Wicker Park to Humboldt Park, wide open for strollers and scooters, with several small parks to drop down into along the way; kids at second-story height watch the streets and train tracks like they're riding a little train.

💡 Tips
Lots of bikes on weekends, so keep kids in the walking lane on the right. Walsh Park and Julia de Burgos Park at the two ends have playgrounds; there are no restrooms, so stop at a coffee shop first.
