The Schaumburg Park District's re-created 1880s German immigrant farm inside Spring Valley, where costumed interpreters feed chickens, milk cows, and cook; kids can help with chores, pet the sheep, and step into the farmhouse to see the old stove.

💡 Tips
Open Tuesday through Sunday, April to October (check the website), and free; weekend afternoons often have special programs. String it together with the nature center trails and Bison's Bluff playground for a full day.
