A family farm 30 minutes west of Sugar Land: Farm Funland has a row of extra-long tube slides, a giant sandbox, a corn pit, small animals and tractors; February through April you can pick strawberries in the fields, and in October it turns into a pumpkin patch. The easiest farm day from the southwest suburbs.

💡 Tips
Funland admission is about $15–20 per person (strawberries are extra by the pound; check the website). It closes in summer because of the heat and reopens in late September. On strawberry-season weekends, arrive before 10am; the fields get picked clean by afternoon.
