Houston's classic 2-year-old outing: the little train leaves Kinder Station for a 2-mile loop around Hermann Park, through a tunnel and past the lake and the edge of the zoo. About 20 minutes per ride, and 7-year-olds don't find it babyish either.

💡 Tips
Tickets are about $4–5 per person (check the website), free under 1. There are lines on weekend afternoons, so ride first thing in the morning. Pair it with the playground, the zoo or McGovern Centennial Gardens.
