A 6-acre city park in Upper Kirby that many parents rate as Houston's best playground: a giant climbing net and treehouse-style towers for big kids, a low toddler area and swings under the old oaks for little ones, and on weekends there's almost always free music or yoga on the lawn.

💡 Tips
Weekend mornings from 9 to 11 are the busiest and liveliest; go on a weekday for quiet. The park has restrooms and a restaurant. Not much shade at the playground, so in summer go only early morning or evening.
