A linear park following Buffalo Bayou from Beltway 8 all the way to Hwy 6, with wide paved trails that are easy to push, turtles and herons in the bayou, and a playground and restrooms by the Eldridge entrance. The easiest get-out-and-walk between Memorial and Katy.

💡 Tips
Good for strollers and new walkers, and 7-year-olds can bring a scooter. Mosquitoes are thick by the water, so spray up in the evening. After heavy storms the bayou floods the trail; wait a few days.
