The newly built heart of Houston's biggest city park: a boardwalk and paved loop around Hines Lake, herons and turtles in the wetlands, a huge lawn for rolling around, and a few minutes' walk up to the Land Bridge to look out over the prairie. The 2-year-old runs the boardwalk; the 7-year-old can do the whole loop.
