A real 1891 farmstead next to downtown Plano, with sheep, goats, chickens, and peacocks in a 4-acre yard and an old schoolhouse and blacksmith shop to wander through; a 2-year-old can spend a whole morning circling the chicken coop.

💡 Tips
Self-guided grounds admission is a few dollars, with house tours extra; usually open Thursday through Sunday, check the website. Spring and fall weekends often have kids' festival events. Walkable to Haggard Park and the Interurban Railway Museum.
