A family blueberry farm northwest of Cypress, open for picking from late May to early July: the bushes are low and the grassy rows are flat, so a 2-year-old can pick and eat on their own. Fill a bucket and pay by the pound. One of the few farm chores worth leaving the house for in a Houston summer.

💡 Tips
Usually open only a few hours in the morning (roughly 7 to 11am; check Facebook), and the earlier you go, the cooler it is and the more berries there are. Bring hats, water and your own containers; cash or Venmo.
