Fifteen acres of free gardens in the north corner of Hermann Park, centered on a hill you can walk up by a spiral ramp (The Mount) for a view over the gardens and the Museum District. The Family Garden is planted with vegetables and herbs to touch and smell, and the Japanese Garden next door has a koi pond and little bridges. The 2-year-old runs laps around the hill while the 7-year-old hunts for koi.

💡 Tips
Paved throughout and stroller-friendly. The rose garden in spring and the tulip beds in March are the prettiest; in summer, early morning only. Pair it with the Health Museum and the little train for a full morning.
